No New Posts Land of Tall Grasses

This a wood with thin, tall, light brown colored grasses. They normally grow up to a horses knees. The trees grow tall and the branches spread out to touch each other over head. The trees are mostly things like oak and pecan trees, so they lose their leaves in the cold months of winter. This is probably the least protected of all the neuteral territories, since there isn't really any natural borders. Remember: Wolves don't care about your borders, all they care about is their next meal.

No New Posts Thorn Clearings

This large forest was once over taken by a small fire, and most of the foliage has grown back, but in places, though the grass grow green and full, the trees have not and will not grow there. These clearings are filled with thorn and bramble bushes. Only those who have been here awhile can manage to navigate through the forest without getting cut and pricked. The fire caused lots of trees to fall over and create good shelters for sleeping. This is a well-protected territory, and since it has all the thorns, predators won't really even bother trying to get through your borders.

No New Posts Shadowy Pines

This territory is in a pine forest. This territory is one of the oldest in the lands of the equines are there are paths made from generations of hooves walking through the forest. It is shadowy and dark, even in full sun. There is a thin, but deep river flowing along the western border of the territory. Being so old, the pines are tall and the branches are way overhead, making a great canopy with good protection from the weather. Sleeping places are easy to find, and since you don't really have to worry about the rain, you can pretty much sleep anywhere you want. But, sometimes wolves make their way into this territory, so even if you live there, I wouldn't recomend going off on your own.

No New Posts Thundering Ridge

This is an extremely tall ridge that looks over a beautiful valley, which is the territory of a different stag, but it shouldn't be a problem, since most neuteral horses keep to themselves. You hear almost everything here, for there are alot of echos. There is one, well hidden trail that leads down the side of the ridge to the valley below. But I wouldn't go down it, its very brittle and old, and you would probably fall. There are pretty much no trees up here, but there is a single cave in the side of the mountain that gets so steep theres no chance of you climbing up. Thats where the horses all sleep. Its not the biggest territory, but its the most well protected.

No New Posts Red Canyons

The many shades of red in the uneven walls of the canyon can make looking at it a little hard on the eyes, since the sun always shines so brightly here, if your just coming into the territory it will take you awhile to get used to it. There is a pool in the middle of a shallower section of the canyon and all over you can find sparse grasses for grazing. Not very many other creatures live here, and this is one of the few places where you won't find wolves, only small rodents and lots of lizards. There are many cliffs so mothers, keep a close eye on your babies.

No New Posts Long Valley

This is the valley that lies below the Thundering Ridge territory. Its is another very well protected territory, since it is bordered by the ridge on one side and a river on the other. The grass is soft and the trees bear fruit and flowers in the summer. There is a small pond surrounded by reeds and cattails under the cliff, lots of fish swim under its surface in the summer. There are many clumps of trees and bushes in the meadow, but since its a valley, theres no forest, so the horses have to share close quarters when it rains since their isn't much shelter that a forest would offer.
